Narrowband UVB phototherapy in short courses remains the treatment option of choice for plaque psoriasis and some other dermatoses and may be helpful for atopic dermatitis if not light activated.
Limited area lesions can be treated with the pulsed dye laser or resurfacing as an option to intralesional triamcinolone or cryosurgery.
The Excimer UV laser (308nm) is also effective.
