Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea can now be managed effectively with light based treatments including the Vbeam Perfecta™ pulsed dye laser and the Lumenis M22™ intense pulsed light device.
Repeat treatments are required.
Rhinophyma is best addressed with the CO2 laser and/or Surgitron™ after appropriate medical treatment. Erythromelanosis faciei is a disorder of younger persons, often associated with flushing of the cheeks, which can cause distress.
This, along with keratosis pilaris rubra variants, can often be managed successfully with vascular laser interventions.
